The MONARCH Charitable Organization was established in memory of Monica Williams, a beautiful daughter, sister, and aunt who passed away at the age of 38. Monica lost her 14 month battle with ovarian cancer on September 24, 2003.
Mission Statement:
The MONARCH Charitable Organization is a 501c3 organization working under the auspices of the Council of Community Services of New York State. We are dedicated to raising funds in support of scientific research for the treatment and cure of ovarian cancer. In addition, we seek to raise awareness of this deadly disease through our fundraising efforts.
2008 Walk
Thank you to all who attended The Fifth Annual Monica Williams Walk for Ovarian Cancer. The walk was held on July 5, 2008 in Lake Luzerne, NY. We had close to 200 walkers attend on a beautiful sunny day. We were able to raise approximately $9,000! We truly appreciate everyone's continued support! We couldn't do it without all of you.
